The short version
The site has no accounts, no comments, no contact form, no advertising and no affiliate tracking. It uses privacy-focused visit statistics and ordinary server logs, and it keeps the email you choose to send. This page says what that means.
Visit statistics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Cloudflare describes this service as collecting aggregate statistics without using cookies or local storage to track individual visitors. The site does not use Google Analytics.
The site uses Google Search Console to see how its pages appear in Google Search. Search Console reports on search activity; it does not place any code on these pages.
Advertising and affiliate tracking
There is none. No advertising networks, tracking pixels or affiliate tracking are used.
Cookies
The WebsiteSolutions.us application and Cloudflare Web Analytics do not set cookies during an ordinary public page visit.
Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies when it applies a security feature or challenge. These cookies are used to protect and deliver the site, not for advertising.
The site also has a private sign-in area used only by its editor. Signing in there sets a session cookie and a security token that protects its forms. Those cookies are not set during ordinary public browsing.
Server and security logs
Like any website, the site's hosting server and its network provider, Cloudflare, process technical information about each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. The site uses this information to deliver pages, maintain security and diagnose technical problems. Service providers may also process it to operate their services, prevent abuse or comply with legal obligations.
- The application's own logs, which record errors, are rotated weekly and kept for about eight weeks, then deleted.
- The web server's request logs are kept for a limited period under the hosting server's log rotation, then deleted.
- Cloudflare keeps its own records of requests under Cloudflare's policies.
WebsiteSolutions.us does not use these logs to build advertising profiles or contact visitors. Logs may be reviewed when investigating security incidents, abuse or technical problems.
Email you send
When you write to contact@websitesolutions.us, your message, your email address and anything else you include are forwarded to the mailbox the editor uses for the site, and stored there by that mailbox's provider.
- Ordinary correspondence is kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Correction decisions and the public record of corrections are kept as part of the site's editorial history.
- Correspondence may be kept longer where it relates to an active dispute, a legal requirement or an ongoing matter, and only for as long as that lasts.
Please do not send sensitive personal information.
What the site does not do
There is no account registration, and no contact submissions are stored in the site's database. Personal information is not sold or shared for advertising.
Children
The site is written for business owners and is not directed at children.
Questions and requests
To ask what information the site holds about you, or request its deletion, write to contact@websitesolutions.us. The editor may need enough information to identify the relevant correspondence. Some records may be retained where needed for editorial history, security, an active dispute or a legal obligation.
Changes
If these practices change, this page will be updated and its review date will change.
